Sidecar Cocktail
Description:
Recordbox Obsessions presents our classic Sidecar is a potent, tangy, and fruity cocktail made with four simple ingredients:
Ingredients: 1 Serving
- 50 ml (or 2 oz) Cognac or brandy25 ml (or 1 oz) Orange Liqueur (Cointreau or Grand Marnier)
- 25 ml (or 0.75 oz) Freshly squeezed lemon juiceIce (for shaking)
- Optional: Granulated sugar (for the rim) and an orange or lemon twist (for garnish)
Mixing Instructions:
- Prep the Glass (Optional): Rub the rim of a coupe glass with a lemon wedge and dip it in granulated sugar to coat.
- Place the glass in the fridge to chill.Shake:
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, then add the Cognac, orange liqueur, and lemon juice.
- Shake vigorously for about 10–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is frosty and cold.
- Serve: Strain the mixture into your chilled glass. Garnish with a twist of orange or lemon peel
